In 13 October 2025, Resilience Integration and Sustainable Empowerment (RISE) carried out a targeted food assistance initiative for orphans and vulnerable children in Banadir region. The activity aimed to support the nutritional and wellbeing needs of children who are most at risk due to poverty, displacement, or loss of parental care.

This intervention reflects RISE’s continued commitment to child protection, food security, and safeguarding dignity for all children—especially in fragile communities. By ensuring access to essential food items, RISE seeks to reduce hunger-related vulnerabilities and promote healthier, more resilient childhoods.

The successful delivery of this assistance was made possible through collaborative efforts with partners and community structures. RISE remains committed to scaling up support for vulnerable populations across Somalia.
