From November 4–6, 2025, Resilience Integration and Sustainable Empowerment (RISE) participated in a national consultation workshop on Economic, Social, and Cultural Rights (ESCR), held at Peace Hotel in Mogadishu. The event was organized by UNTMIS and brought together civil society representatives from across Somalia.

The workshop aimed to engage stakeholders in drafting Somalia’s stakeholder report for the International Covenant on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights (ICESCR). RISE’s participation reflects its ongoing commitment to promoting inclusive dialogue, human rights, and equitable access to basic social services and opportunities for all, particularly marginalized communities.

This engagement also aligns with RISE’s strategic focus on strengthening civic engagement, social accountability, and the role of local organizations in policy processes that shape the lives of vulnerable populations.
