Resilience Integration and Sustainable Empowerment (RISE) participated in a key coordination meeting led by the Minister of Aid and Disaster Management of South West State, Hon. Abdinaasir Abdi Aruush, held at the Ministry’s headquarters in Baidoa.

The meeting brought together representatives from UN agencies, international and local humanitarian organizations, and the Director General of the Ministry. The discussions focused on preparedness strategies for the anticipated deterioration of humanitarian conditions in the coming months, with an emphasis on coordinated response efforts.

The Minister called on all organizations to strengthen collaboration with the government to ensure an effective, needs-based response that reaches the most vulnerable communities.
