RISE fully participated in the South West State (SWS) WASH Cluster Rapid Needs Assessment (RNA) conducted across Bay and Lower Shabelle regions, aimed at identifying critical WASH gaps and informing evidence-based humanitarian responses. The organization actively engaged in the assessment across all targeted districts, reaffirming its strong commitment to coordinated WASH programming and data-driven decision-making.
In the Bay region, RISE supported the RNA in Baidoa, Buurhakaba, Berdalle, Qansaxdhere, and Diinsor, while in the Lower Shabelle region, participation covered Marka, Walawayn, Kurtunwarey, Afgoye, Qoryoley, Barawe, and Awdhegley. RISE’s contribution included active involvement in coordination processes, provision of field-level technical support, deployment of staff and enumerators, and logistical assistance through the provision of vehicles to facilitate timely and effective data collection.
