On August 27, 2025, RISE took part in the Monthly Protection Cluster Meeting held at the Ministry of Women Meeting Hall in Baidoa. The meeting brought together key partners to discuss protection issues affecting vulnerable communities in Southwest State.

Key Discussions Included:

• Overview of the current humanitarian situation
• Identification of service delivery gaps and referral challenges
• Updates from sector leads on Child Protection, GBV, HLP, and others
• Coordination efforts to strengthen protection services on the ground

RISE shared updates on its ongoing community-based protection work and reaffirmed its commitment to advocating for the rights and inclusion of marginalized groups, including women, children, persons with disabilities, and displaced communities.
