Resilience Integration and Sustainable Empowerment (RISE) proudly joined the Baidoa District Global Handwashing Day 2025 Commemoration Event, contributing to a powerful joint effort to raise awareness on the importance of hand hygiene in preventing disease and promoting public health.

The event, led by the South West State Ministry of Water, Energy, and Resources, brought together WASH and health partners to promote the theme of the year, emphasizing handwashing as a critical and simple action for saving lives.

As part of the celebration, RISE engaged in community sensitization activities, school outreach, and demonstrations to highlight proper handwashing practices—especially in underserved and vulnerable communities.
