On August 1st, 2025, the Minority Rights Organization (MRO) in Baidoa successfully elected its new leadership through a transparent and inclusive process. This milestone reflects a strong commitment to representation, allowing minority and marginalized communities in South West Somalia to have a stronger voice in advocacy and decision-making.
