We were honored to welcome Mr. Mohamed Abdi, a representative from the Ministry of Women and Human Rights Development, Federal Government of Somalia, to our office in Baidoa, South West State.

During his visit, Mr. Abdi commended RISE’s ongoing work in promoting child welfare and advancing child protection principles. He also highlighted our efforts in advocating for the inclusion of minority and marginalized groups-key pillars of our mission to build equitable and resilient communities.

In his remarks, Mr. Abdi shared insightful recommendations for future collaboration between RISE and the Ministry, emphasizing the importance of continued coordination in areas that directly impact vulnerable populations.

We sincerely appreciate his visit, valuable feedback, and encouragement. RISE looks forward to working hand in hand with the Ministry to strengthen protection systems and promote inclusive development across Somalia.
