Resilience Integration and Sustainable Empowerment (RISE) proudly took part in the Bi-weekly Coordination Cell Meeting convened by the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs and Disaster Management (MOHADM) in Baidoa.

This regular coordination forum brought together humanitarian partners operating in the Southwest State to:

• Review ongoing emergency and development responses
• Share key operational updates and field-level challenges
• Strengthen inter-agency coordination and information-sharing
• Identify gaps and ensure timely, harmonized service delivery

RISE contributed to discussions by highlighting its ongoing activities in protection, food security, WASH, and resilience-building efforts. The organization reaffirmed its commitment to supporting integrated, community-centered approaches and working closely with government and partners to ensure inclusive, needs-driven humanitarian response.

These meetings remain vital for improving coordination, enhancing accountability, and driving impactful collaboration across sectors.
