August 23–25, 2025
RISE was pleased to attend a three-day capacity-building training on Inclusive Participation, Decision-Making, and Advocacy on Child Protection and Child Rights, organized by the Somali Child Rights Coalition. Held at Beder Hotel in Mogadishu from August 23–25, 2025, the training brought together local civil society organizations and coalition members working to advance children’s rights across Somalia.
The workshop focused on:
✅ Promoting inclusive participation in child protection initiatives
✅ Strengthening collaborative and accountable decision-making
✅ Enhancing advocacy strategies to influence policy and improve child well-being
RISE actively contributed to discussions and reaffirmed its commitment to protecting the rights of children, especially the most vulnerable and marginalized. The training served as a powerful platform to network, learn, and build collective momentum for change at both community and national levels.
Together for a safer and more inclusive future for every child.
