On August 13, RISE was honored to host the South West State Minority Rights Organizations (MROs) Coordination Meeting at our Baidoa office. This important gathering brought together representatives from various MROs working to advance inclusion and protect the rights of minority and marginalized communities in the region.

Key Outcomes from the Meeting:
✅ Agreement to draft a Terms of Reference (ToR) to guide the network’s coordination and collaboration.
✅ Commitment to develop an official website for increased visibility and resource sharing.
✅ Member organizations agreed to contribute financially to support initial coordination activities.
✅ Naming of the MROs network is in progress, with members to propose and decide collaboratively.

We thank all participating organizations for their active engagement, collaboration, and shared vision for inclusive and rights-based development across South West State.
